With the introduction of CCE by CBSE, New Delhi, since learning has become more rigorous and
effective than the examination and the academics have become all the way more learning oriented than examination oriented, more stress is being laid on working… on practicals - Hence emerges the essence of laboratories.
Over the past decade, it has been seen that laboratories have been mostly neglected and the learning
outcomes from these laboratories have been almost null, due to negligence and ignorance. At this
scenario, if all the laboratories are given control to a single external agency, that takes care of the
infrastructure of these laboratories, prepare their study material and laboratory manuals, the labs
will have an excellent atmosphere of great learning… A professional institution, on any good day, can
provide better means to the laboratory functionality than the school itself as there are so many things
going around in the external world as well which these specialized agencies will know better.
Obviously these labs will be instructed by the institutional faculty themselves, but in a case if any help is needed, we can avail for a trainer to train the faculty or clear the faculty’s doubts on the usage of apparatus at any point of time.
